Will Crockett Bogen Cafe great success!

In his two hour presentation, Will Crockett brought the audiences' enthusiasm for photography and good lighting to an all time high. Armed with incredible knowledge and wit, Crockett gave an engaging look at all things lighting. He demonstrated his money making lighting techniques with the top-of-the-line Bogen Imaging equipment. And to the complete astonishment of the Professional Photography program, the $30,000 worth of equipment used in these demonstrations was donated to the program. More than 80 students and interested parties attended the Oct. 14 evening lecture and 50 students participated in the Thursday morning hands-on session. Crockett and Bogen Imaging representatives Christopher Abbiss from the New Jersey BI headquarters and Teague Parker, the NW BI distributor, Rob of ProPhoto Supply in Portland and instructors from the Pro Photo program, assisted students in learning to use the equipment and techniques for better images. Some of the equipment included Elinchrom lighting heads, Octobank softboxs, beauty dishes, Ranger Powerpacks and the Skyport electronic transmitter system as well as Lastolite, Gossen and Bogen products. I'll soon post some of the images students created during the hands-on workshop. The Professional Photography can scarcely find the words of thanks for this kind of generosity from the Bogen Imaging Co.
